A Marathon of a Month

April 20th, 2011

Before we start we’d like to give a big shout out and congratulations to Danielle Jansen for completing the Virgin London Marathon on the 17th April in 4hrs 31mins while raising £4k for Cancer Research. We love you and are all really proud of you, great work!

March and April have been pretty busy with the emergence of a long awaited Spring we’ve found new inspiration for new material and have made some good progress on the new album entitled Stop, Rewind, Paws. You can find a preview of some of the new tracks on our lastfm page . As always we’d love to hear what you think of the new stuff.

As a little bonus we’ve also made our version of Bruno Mars’s Grenade available as a free mp3 download to demonstrate how much we love our supporters… we maybe wouldn’t catch a Grenade for you but we’d definitely sing about it for you.

We did another cover too, in case you missed it.

We chose to perform Adele’s Someone Like You as it’s been so popular since the Brits we’d like to put our own spin on it. It’s been received quite well by people who have visited our Youtube channel .

We also had a bit of fun with the iMac camera and added a video for an acapella version of Paul Simon’s Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes. We had so much fun doing this it was nearly impossible to keep a straight face. Check it out.

This month also saw the first Jampaw e-newsletter go out to a bunch of our friends from Facebook. To be honest it was a bit of a nightmare as we were using a new program and had a couple of technical issues which meant that not everyone who had signed up for the letter received a copy. We’re trying to rectify it and will be sending out the next instalment in May/June.
We’ve also discovered the wonders of Twitter! . Come and follow us, we Tweet regularly it’s all just a bit of fun! Our handle is @Jampaw1. Can’t wait to see you there!

Once again, we can’t do anything without your support and thank you for reading and signing up, spread the word of Jampaw. The more people that build our name the more chance we have of breaking into this competitive industry. Just think how cool it’d be to be able to say ‘I know those guys!! I helped them make it!’.

Also after our first stadium gig we will throw an after party with free booze for all who sign up for our newsletter.

Sending you all Love and Pieces of Rainbow
